Rehabilitation on Wheels (RoW) is APD’s mobile rehabilitation initiative that delivers therapy services directly to persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, and adults with chronic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions across underserved communities.
When distance, mobility limitations, or financial hardship make accessing rehabilitation difficult, RoW ensures that care reaches those who need it most at their doorstep.
For many individuals, accessing rehabilitation services remains difficult due to long travel distances, high transportation costs, inaccessible infrastructure, dependence on caregivers, and financial constraints. These barriers often result in delayed intervention, reduced independence, and lower quality of life.

Institutional outreach includes partnerships with NGOs, old age homes, community centres, disability institutions, Gram Panchayats, and sub-health centres.
Powered by Partnerships
Rehabilitation on Wheels was developed through collaboration between APD and ABB India CSR, addressing accessibility challenges and enabling community-based rehabilitation.
Additional support from Brigade and Juniper has helped expand outreach and scale services sustainably.
Voices of Impact
“Rehabilitation on Wheels was conceptualised and designed by APD in collaboration with ABB. Accessibility and mobility challenges often delay timely treatment, and this initiative has helped bring services closer to those in need.”
