Disability Law Unit (South)

The Disability Law Unit (South) was established by APD in June 2020 in collaboration with the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP).

The unit supports persons with disabilities in accessing government services and provides guidance when their rights are affected under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

APD also participates in disability networks and forums that contribute to wider dialogue on rights, representation and inclusion.
