About the Event
The Association of People with Disability (APD) will host the 10th N. S. Hema Memorial Awards, continuing a decade-long initiative that recognises organisations advancing disability inclusion.
Instituted in memory of APD’s founder, Ms. N. S. Hema, the awards celebrate organisations creating meaningful, community-led and sustainable impact in the disability sector. The 2026 edition will recognise work across two categories: Disability Inclusive Health and Disability Inclusive Livelihood.
The event will bring together organisations, sector leaders, partners and members of the disability community to celebrate impactful work and carry forward N. S. Hema’s vision of an inclusive society where persons with disabilities have equitable opportunities to participate and thrive.
